Dear Residents

An update from your local Neighbourhood Police Team.

CRIME 

Theft of motor vehicles have been reported on Kingsbury Road, Kilburn Drive and Kendon Avenue. All incidents are being investigated. 

Theft from motor vehicles reported in Lake View Park, Branksome Avenue and Malvern Road. 

WHAT’s BEEN HAPPENING

Officers have had success this week with identifying stolen vehicles in the neighbourhood and having them removed. If you see a suspicious vehicle in your neighbourhood that you believe maybe stolen or untaxed please report it to us. We can also give tickets for unnecessary obstructions on the pavements which we see a lot of outside school buildings. 

Officers have been visiting youths at their home addresses who have been identified as being involved in anti-social behaviour. This has been an opportunity to educate them on how their behaviour can affect the local community. Parents/guardians were also present and the visits were very positive…….

…Following on from our visits with young people…. If you know of any students who have an interest in joining the Police in the future or maybe looking to join in with some volunteering  then maybe our Police Cadet scheme is something they would be interested in. 

Our cadets scheme provides young people aged 13 to 17 years with a unique opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, and make a positive impact in their local communities. It also diverts young people away from negative influences and crime.
